Ja, Google Wave wird auf dem Android dargestellt und es sieht wirklich gut aus. Aber wenn Du es ausprobierst, bekommst du erstmal eine Warnung von Wave:

Yes, Google Wave is being reformatted for Android. So when you login on your Android phone, everything looks quite good. However, when you try to do that, Wave is telling you:

Sorry, it looks like you're using a browser that isn't supported during the preview of Google Wave." If you'd like to try out the exciting world of Wave we suggest that you use one of these browsers: Google Chrome, Safari 4, Firefox 3.5. If you want to continue at your own peril, go ahead

Ein weiterer Minuspunkt, für Google Wave auf Android ist, dass es nur extrem langsam läuft. Was solls, momentan ist Google Wave sowieso nicht wirklich brauchbar, und wenn es soweit ist, wird die Geschwindigkeit sicher kein Problem mehr sein.

Another downer is, that Google Wave on Android is really, really slow. Anyways, I asume that eventually speed will not be an issue anymore, and Google Wave for now is not yet usable at all, so I don't worry too much.

So sieht nun also eine Google Wave Einladung aus, wenn Sie bei Euch im E-Mail Eingang landet. Ich hatte meine heute morgen im Postfach. 

Google Wave Einladung in Gmail


Dann ging es los mit waven - dachte ich. Nun ja, es war schon ein besonderer Moment, nur habe ich gesehen, dass Google Wave nicht in meinem üblichen Gmail integriert ist, sondern vorerst auf einer separaten Preview Plattform läuft, und erst einer meiner 1500 Gmail-Kontakte auch ein Google Waver ist.

Nichts wie los, meine Einladungen verschicken. Eine Wave mit dem Namen "Invite others to Google Wave" ist bereits in der Inbox mit einem Gadget, über das Einladungen verschicken werden können. Wenn man dann genau liesst heisst es (siehe Screenshot anbei) : "Google Wave macht mehr Spass, wenn man mit anderen waven kann, also "nominiere" (zur Wahl vorschlagen!) ein paar Leute, die Du einladen möchtest." Nach ein paar Minuten war mir denn auch klar, dass die Einladungen nicht direkt rausgehen, sondern dass die vorgeschlagenen Leute wieder auf einer Warteliste zu stehen kommen. Nichts desto trotz, habe ich noch ganze fünf Einladungen, die ich loswerden kann.
